Franck Ribery has pledged his future to Marseille, just days after announcing he wanted to leave the club.
The France midfielder, who has been linked with Arsenal and Lyon, seemed set to leave the Mediterranean giants after saying last Friday he wanted to play for a team in the Champions League.
But following Thursday's 3-3 draw with Young Boys Bern in the UEFA Cup second qualifying round, a match in which he came on as a second-half substitute, the 23-year-old committed himself to Marseille.
"I am a Marseille player and I'm happy to be here," he said.
"I have spoken to (chief shareholder) Mr (Robert) Louis-Dreyfus and to president Mr (Pape) Diouf. I feel great. I hope to have a good season at Marseille."
He added: "Our main goal now is to finish the season in the first three (in Ligue 1) to play in the Champions League next year."
